The Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies is an international, not‑for‑profit organisation representing professionals and institutions involved in transfusion medicine and biotherapies. It develops and delivers standards, accreditation, and educational programmes with the aim of making transfusion medicine and biotherapies safe, available, and effective worldwide.
AABB’s membership spans clinicians, scientists, technologists, and administrators across more than 80 countries, and it publishes research and guidance that inform practice and quality in the field.
